Gübelin, Lucerne, 47mm, 14K green gold OF original Gübelin case with elegant black and white enamel inlay to bezel and rear perimeter, black enamel inlay to pendant and bow, initials to rear, 1925 presentation engraving within rear, silvered dial with applied gold numerals, lever escapement, 17J, wheel satin nickel finish, s#363776 within case. Comes with a fitted leather E. Gübelin box as pictured. Gross weight of assembled watch 34.2 dwt (53.2 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, toning of plate surfaces, some scattered mild small haze spots; excellent dial with some dark spotting around perimeter which is mostly under bezel; excellent hands, spot of oxide to tip of minute; case shows hardly any wear, no dents or dings, excellent engraving detail, enameling is fully intact and superb throughout; tight bow, crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystal; box shows light wear, some scratches and abrasions to exterior, finish loss at edges, interior with torn silk liner over hinge area.
